Tina Calhoun’s AM and PM classes from Pershing Early Learning Center went to Black Bart’s Pumpkin Patch this past Thursday.

We had a lot of fun, but during that fun time we worked on how to be out in the community by waiting our turn, taking turns, and following directions. Miss Chandler (our SLP) worked on the iPad by using the TouchChat app to help the students communicate what they were doing, using words such as “slide, go, down, pumpkin, orange”. Some students even used it asking for their snack.
