In January, Life Skills and Essential Skills students studied about animals in winter on our STAR curriculum. One of our educational all-stars, Ms. Lauren Klosak, M.Ed., invited the Macon County Conservation District to give presentation on winter animals in our area. At the presentation, students got to learn about different birds and mammals and how they behave during winter. Students also got to play with sensory bins and pet animal hides. A few of our cross-cat kiddos joined as well!
