We are super excited about Andrea taking the Assistant Director position on our Leadership Team! She brings a wealth of passion, dedication, and experience to MPSED. Hereโs a quick Q&A to help you get to know her better:
๐ Her Journey
Andrea earned her degree in Special Education from SIUE and started her career with Carlinville SD, teaching Cross Cat LS and SED for 7 years. She returned home to Decatur in 2018 to teach at Robertson Charter School, joining MPSED as an SEA in 2019!

Building Bridges: Her favorite accomplishment is building positive relationships with families who feel intimidated by the IEP process.
